**Summary of the IX Legal Forum of BRICS Countries**
The IX Legal Forum of BRICS countries concluded its work on September 19-20 in Moscow at the MGIMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia. The event was co-organized by the Russian Lawyers Association, MGIMO, and O.E. Kutafin Moscow State Law University.
1. Approximately 1,000 participants attended the forum, including representatives from lawyers’ associations, leading legal educational institutions, and specialists in various fields such as arbitration, corporate law, sports law, and intellectual property law.
2. The forum featured more than 15 discussions, a plenary session, and the signing of a final declaration.
3. Forum participants reached a consensus on legal cooperation and discussed current legal issues facing BRICS countries. They formulated proposals for creating effective legal mechanisms.
4. Important initiatives were announced concerning investment protection, combating cybercrime, and collaboration in the fields of education and science.
5. The II Moscow Declaration was signed, affirming the parties’ commitment to legal cooperation.
6. A unanimous decision was made to host the X Legal Forum in 2025 in Brazil.

The forum has been held annually since 2014, fostering legal diplomacy and enhancing the status of the legal profession.
